Tip
Don't forget to save about 60g of Yogurt for your next batch!
Yogurt will last 2 weeks in the fridge for eating.
For re-cultering, it is best to use yogurt that is no more than 7 days old.
Instead of Vanilla you can add 20g - 40g sugar or a couple of tbsp honey to sweeten.
Try my beautiful granola to serve with this or make my Labbna.

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I make this without vanilla or sugar, that way I can use as I need - sweet or savoury 🙂
So good!
I made this last night. Will be my go to recipe from now on.
I mixed everything as instructed then I put my yoghurt in the Easio to ferment overnight Worked perfectly and was delicious.
Love this recipe! Thank you Collette - It was my most made recipe last year!

Great easy recipe, nice n creamy. I've started to use the little glass yoghurt jars, works perfectly.
Great recipe. A family favourite which we make every week. Saves us a fortune.
This is so yummy and easy to make. I had some leftover blackberry coulis in the fridge and added a spoonful to my serve of yoghurt!
Absolutely delicious and creamy.
