Ingredients

  • 100 g Butter, Roughly chopped
  • 70 g golden syrup
  • 90 g rolled oats
  • 20 g Currents
  • 80 g cranberries or goji berries
  • 60 g Shredded coconut
  • 20 g sunflower seeds
  • 30 g pepitas
  • 75 g Self Raising Flour
  • 50 g brown sugar

Recipe's preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 180℃. Lightly grease and line 20cm x 30cm tin with baking paper
    1. Place butter in TM Bowl and chop 5 secs | speed 5
  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

    1. Add Golden Syrup and melt 3 mins | 60℃ | speed 2 until butter has melted
    1. Add remaining ingredients and mix 20 secs | reverse | speed 3
    1. Press into the base of baking tin and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden
    1. Allow to cool completely in the tin before cutting into slices to serve

    This was delicious! Probably more like a slice than a muesli bar but still a great recipe and very forgiving for substituting what you have in the pantry. I didn't have golden syrup so used a mix of honey and treacle instead! A bit crumbly but will definitely make again! Thanks

    Oh my... smells awesome!  I used a gluten free toasted cereal instead of the peppitas etc, and the pretoasted coconut just made it sensational.  Yummo

    I love these and so do my kids. Will be a regular in our house. I used saltainers instead of currents and desicated coconut instead of shredded, also halfed the sugar, perfect! Thank you

    These are so yummy. Have made a few batches now.

    only prob I have is that mine always turns out crumbly. Any suggestions on how I can fix this please.

    Waaay too sweet for us, and I reduced the sugar and the golden syrup!  Basically this is an anzac biscuit with fruit rather than a museli bar.  The kids enjoyed them, but unfortunately they won't be a regular in our house....
