- 500 g Puffed rice
- 250 g Desiccated Coconut
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 30 g chia seeds
- 60 g coconut oil
- 80 g honey

Place honey and coconut oil into mixing bowl and cook for 6 min/100C/Speed 3
Add all remaining (dry) ingredients to bowl and mix 10 sec//Speed 3
Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat mixing
Line a baking tray with baking paper, press mixture into tray and refrigerate until set
Cut into slices and keep in regrigerator
Tip
Push choc chips into the top of the mixture before refrigerating if you wish
Will freeze well

After using a whole 250g bag of puffed rice (I was making a half batch), I used 50g of that to "try again". It worked better, so I think 50g is the right quantity, but then the coconut was excessive and dried it out so it still didn't hold together. I think 75g coconut would have been plenty!! Will try again sometime.
Hi there, what kind of Thermomix have you got? I was hard pressed fitting 130g of puffed rice in mine. And unfortunately the mixture doesn't stick at all. I followed the recipe apart from the 500g of puffed rice. Can you please tell me what went wrong? Was it supposed to be 50g of puffed rice? Cheers.
