- 30 g raw sugar
- 60 g Butter, in cubes
- 1 egg, large
- 70 g Milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 70 g Self Raising Flour

Place six silicone cupcake moulds in Varoma tray, set tray in place and weigh 15g of Golden Syrup into each. Remove tray.
Place sugar into mixing bowl and mill 9 sec/speed 9.
Add cubed butter and mix 8 sec/speed 7.
Add egg, milk, vanilla extract and flour and mix for 8 sec/speed 5.
Divide batter between cupcake moulds.
Clean mixing bowl and add 1 litre of water.
Set Varoma back in place and steam the puddings for 20 min/Varoma/speed 2.
Turn puddings out of moulds directly into small bowls and serve with custard or ice-cream.

Nice recipe. Very fluffy. Used half treacle and half caramel for the sauce. Cooked 25 min in one dish. Will double the recipe next time.

Really easy winter dessert. We love them!
I made these tonight and they were delicious! I'll admit that I wasn't sure how they would taste because they were so simple to make, but they had just the right amount of sweetness. My only problem with the recipe is the that the water boiled up into the varoma, almost overflowing the silicone moulds so I turned it up to speed 4 (this actually works!) but next time I'd use a little less water. The amount of syrup was good, I may increase next time because I love golden syrup. Thanks for posting!
