- 150 g Almonds/Mixed Nuts raw
- 100 g Shredded Organic Coconut
- 100 g medjool dates pitted, (approx 8)
- 25 g cacao powder
- 2 tablespoon your choice of rum
- 2 tablespoon desicated coconut

1. Line a small/medium slice tin with baking paper.
2. Place the desiccated coconut into a bowl for use in coating outside of balls at the end
3. Add nuts and coconut to the TM bowl, speed 6, 3 secs form coarse crumbs.
4. Add dates and Cacoa powder, speed 5, 10 secs
5. At the 10secs start pouring the rum into the top slowly for another 10 sec
6. Add some hot water if the mix is not sticky enough hot water if needed.
7. The crumbs should have started to come together in a light sticky mass.
8. Take a teaspoon size portion and roll into a ball
9. Once rolled roll in desiccated coconut
10. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Great recipe ... I tinkered with it as I didn't have any rum ... I used cointreau and added orange and ginger zest soaked in a little hot water ... Very successful. Thanks for a great recipe ... Good presents for Xmas ...
