Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Very tasty recipe. My family liked it.
Agree with above comments. My house smells amazing right now. Tasted it and it is watery and has no flavour. What can i use to fix it guys?
I agree, this recipe is very bland. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before making it. It makes a lot of sauce which my kids like but very little flavour. I don't mind the nuts. I'm going start with adding some tomato paste and see if that helps to jazz it up a little.
I will be honest, this was the worst butter chicken i have ever made, no matter what i did to save it.... i am not a huge spicy spice person. So thought ok the comments are saying bland etc, how bad can it be? Well it's bad. Def won't be making it again sorry.
Also not dairy free as there is butter in this recipe...
Variant! swap out the cocnut cream with coconut milk, swap the walnuts for almonds...yummo
A little sloppy but it was yum.
This was very average, thick gloopy sauce, way too nutty.
I liked it and smell was beautiful thank you
Very very bland! ! Not even close to butter chicken,. Very disappointing.
