I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion in bowl and chop 5sec/sp5

    Add oil/butter and sauté 3min/100deg/sp1

Add chicken and cook for 5min/110deg/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 1

Add remaining ingredients and cook for 15min/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" 1 until chicken is cooked through and veggies are soft.

Puree starting at sp4 and increasing to sp8 or until desired consistency is achieved

Tip

I made this to go in squeeze pouches so needed it to be fairly smooth. You could possibly reduce the liquid if you want a chunkier mixture.

Add whatever veggies your Bub is up too! Mine love zucchini and cauliflower in this mix.

As they get older I mix the purée with cooked rice or chopped up potato to make a chunkier meal.

Freezes well.

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Good recipe base. I added veggies like pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot and less chicken. Made a lot! Had to add some pear and apple purée for my baby to eat it but I think he's just fussy. He ate the lot then. I may use some of it to make soup or freeze it.
