Recipe's preparation

    Donuts
  1. Preheat oven to 170 degreees. Lightly grease a donut tray (or a muffin tray works well to make donut puffs).

Mill sugar for 3-4 seconds on speed 9

  2. Add butter and mix for 30 seconds on speed 5, or until light and creamy.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix for 10 seconds on speed 4.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe into the greased donut tray.

    Bake for 10-12 minutes.

  5. Topping
  6. While donuts are baking, melt butter for 2-3 minutes at 50 deg on speed 1. Set aside in a bowl.

  7. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.

  8. When donuts are cooked, take out of the pan immediately  and dip tops into the melted butter, then the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Makes approximately 24 mini donuts or 8 large donuts.

Best enjoyed warm with the perfect cup of tea or coffee!

Quick and easy to make and very tasty, even without the topping. I veganised them using nuttelex, soya milk and egg replacer.

These are amazing!! I first made this as per ingredients and they were delicious but my daughter can't have wheat or dairy so I used Aldi GF flour, Nuttlex and so good coconut almond milk. Turned out just as good! Couldn't even tell they were GF & DF. So happy i was able to make her a little treat for her lunchbox! Thank you!

I had the same experience as posted by Damsgem below. Perhaps a bit more milk to thin the batter down a bit...otherwise I like the idea of baking them 😃

I made these tonight with my daughter. We used gluten free plain flour, nuttelex instead of butter and made our own non-dairy buttermilk and we were really happy with how they turned out. We did have to add some extra milk to the mixture as it was very thick but that was probably because of the gluten free flour.
