Yum, delicious and super easy. Just tastes like a super moist banana cake. I served it for afternoon tea with some vanilla yoghurt on the side. Will definitely make again.

Great change to my usual banana bread 'goto' recipe when bananas are ripening rapidly! This will definitely be on my regular dessert list. Have only had with icecream so far but butterscotch or caramel sauce will certainly be on the cards (if there's any left) 😋.

    What A Surprise!

I needed to use up some bananas but didn't want to bake the usual banana bread and came across this recipe.
It was easy and quick and oh so delicious.
I used a lamington tin and it was ready after 20-25 mins.
We just had it with cream and icecream and I didn't think it needed an extra caramel or chocolate sauce.
    Thanks for a great recipe.

This worked fine for me, very delicious and a fantastic way to use up some manky bananas.

In the absence of any mention of baking utensil or size, I used a loaf tin, greasing it with butter then lining  it with baking paper, and it worked out.  Although it did not look like the picture and was pretty dense, it tasted damn fine, especially with dusting of icing sugar  and ice cream..

    thanks for sharing this recipe.
