Ingredients
Base and Top
- 25 g almonds
- 110 g Whole Wheat Flour, Plain is fine - so is spelt
- 60 g brown sugar
- pinch salt
- 110 g chilled butter, Cubed
- 100 g rolled oats
- 60 g Shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon water
Filling
- 220 g mixed berries, Frozen is fine
- 55 g sugar
- 10 g cornflour
- 30 g orange juice

Place almonds in TM Bowl and mill on speed 7 for 1 second. Set aside.
Add to the TM Bowl the flour, brown sugar, salt and cold butter. Lock Lid and Turbo 3 times. Mixture should look like coarse crumbs. Add coconut, oats and water. Mix on speed 3 for 20 seconds.
Reserve 1 cup of the flour mixture and set aside.
Press the remaining mixture into a lined slice tray. (Mine was 20x10 cm). Use MC upside down to press the crust flat. Set aside and make the berry filling.
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Add to the TM Bowl the berries, sugar, cornflour and orange juice. Cook for 5 mins / 100 degrees / speed 1.
Once complete slowly turn speed to 4 for 10 seconds. Remove Lid and allow berry mixture to cool for 5-10 mins.
Pour Berry mixture over crust and smooth out to the edges. Sprinkle with set aside crumble mixture and top with reserved almonds.
Bake for 15-20 mins or until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely in the tray. Then chill in the fridge before cutting into bars.
