Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Buckwheat, banana and cinnamon pikelets - Oh my! Best pikelet recipe ever! I made these exactly as per the recipe and served with the best butter in the world, maple syrup, lightly fried banana and berries, delish! Thanks to Ali-Cat for the recommendation! Five stars! Thanks for sharing!
Ali-Cat:It's our most used "pancake/piklet" recipe. So healthy and the kids love! Glad you enjoyed
This is a keeper! Our usual Saturday morning consists of EB crepes, but this is so much better and healthier! With a side of fresh fruit (yep, blueberries work a treat!) this will now be our Saturday breakfast go to! I didn't have whole buckwheat, just buckwheat flour which I added in step 2 and it worked just fine. Thanks for sharing!
Made in TM31 just the same. Didn't have a banana so used a grated apple. These were delicious! My new favourite buckwheat pancake recipe
So good my kids were eating them as they came off the hot plate ☺
Easy and quick to make very nice to eat with fresh blueberries
