  • 200 grams white chocolate
  • 450 grams brown sugar
  • 375 grams water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams self-raising flour

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 150C. Grease and line the base and sides of a 9 inch round cake pan.

     

  2. Add the butter, chocolate, sugar and water to your Closed lid"Closed lid" .  5 minutes, 70 degrees, Speed 2 with MC on.  After 5 minutes check all the ingredients are melted and combined.  If not, melt for an extra minute or two or you can blend on Speed 5 for 10 seconds.

     

  3. Add vanilla essence and eggs to your Closed lid"Closed lid" . Blend Speed 5 for 10 seconds with MC on.

     

  4. Add Plain Flour and Self-Raising Flour.  Blend Speed 5 for 10-15 seconds with MC on or until combined.

     

  5. Pour mixture into your prepared cake tin.  Bake for 1.5-2 hours depending on your oven or until cooked through.  Cool the cake in the cake tin before removing.

    Made this twice now and both times when I've cut the cake it looks under cooked. First time I cooked it using the electric over not fan forced and Cooked it for an hour and a half. second time I cooked it in a gas oven for two hours and forty five mins. A little better the second time b.ut no one will eat it cause it looks undercooked tmrc_emoticons.-( Not sure why any help would be appreciated

    Made this tonight and it was amazing.  I baked for 1 and a half hours and it was perfect.  Then smothered in white chocolate ganache! Yum. Thanks for posting.

    Made this for my sons birthday party yesterday. Everyone loved it. Very dense in the middle. But my family likes it when I bake cakes a little less. I still cooked it for 1 hr 45 mins.
