Ingredients
Chocolate Squares
- 400 g Digestive biscuits
- 250 g Butter
- 30 g golden syrup
- 40 g Drinking chocolate
- 250 g chocolate, I used milk but you could use plain if you prefer

Grease a 28cm x 18 cm slice tin
Place biscuits in bowl and grind 3-5 sec speed 6. Set aside.
Place butter, syrup and drinking chocolate in bowl and melt 4 minutes 90 degrees Speed 1
Add biscuit crumbs and mix 10 sec speed 5
Place into slice tin. Allow to cool in fridge
Break chocolate into pieces then grate 5 sec speed 8
Melt 2 minutes at 50 degrees speed 3 (time will depend on the chocolate used)
Pour over biscuits base and chill
Once set, remove from pan and cut into squares (I find by turning the tin upside down and just pushing down on the base it will release the whole slab ready for flipping back over and cutting into squares)

These were a favorite of mine when I was a child that my Mum would make. Even as an adult whenever I went to stay I would always check the fridge and sure enough, there they were waiting for me!
