Ingredients

- 350 g sugar
- 270 g plain flour
- 75 g cocoa
- 1 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 210 g Milk
- 2 eggs
- 85 g olive oil
- 180 g Boiling water

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line & grease 24cm round cake pan.
Measure sugar into thermomix bowl and mill 10 seconds speed 9
Add in plain flour, cocoa, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and salt, and mix 5 seconds speed 5. Set aside.
Fit butterfly into the TM bowil. Measure in milk, oil, eggs and vanilla, and then pour dry ingredients over the top. Mix 2 minutes speed 4.
Add in boiling water (1 cup) and mix 1 minute speed 4
Pour into prepared cake pan and bake 1 hour at 180 degrees C until cooked through
