  • 60 g Butter
  • 95 g honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 150 g sultanas
  • 100 g dried apricots, chopped, (or other dried fruit of choice)
  • 30 g Sunflower Kernels
  • 60 g bran cereal
  • 45 g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 60 g Milk

Recipe's preparation

  1. Melt butter, honey and sugar at 100 degrees, 3 mins, speed 2.

    Add all dry ingredients and combine for 2 mins, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .

    Add egg & milk through lid and combine for 1-2 mins, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .

    Press into a greased and lined lamington tin and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees C.

    Once cooled, cut into slices.

Tip

You can replace brown sugar with rapadura and use any dried fruit you like.

I also used a cereal mix that had bran, bran flakes and some dried apple.
