Ingredients
Not a kingstons biscuit
- 120 g raw sugar
- 140 g plain flour, (I use bakers flour)
- 50 g dessicated coconut, (Use your thermo to mill if using flakes)
- 120 g rolled oats
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 120 g Butter
- 80 g golden syrup, (try homemade in thermomix)
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

- Add raw sugar to bowl, mill 4 seconds, speed 7.
- Add flour, coconut, oats and salt. Mix "Counter-clockwise operation" 5 seconds, speed 4.
Set aside in a bowl. - Melt butter and golden syrup in bowl; 1 minute and 30 seconds, 90°C, speed 1. If not melted, repeat for 30 seconds.
- Add bicarb soda, water and vanilla and mix 10 seconds, speed 4.
- Return flour mixture to bowl and mix 10 seconds, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 4. Scrape down and mix again 5 seconds, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 4.
- Use a teaspoon to spoon out small amounts of batter, roll into a ball and "Warm Up" gently press onto baking tray. Bake for 10-12 minutes. You want for them to all be a golden brown so they are crunchy the whole way through once they cool.

I used some leftover chocolate frosting for inbetween and it worked a treat. I'll add those ingredients later.
I doubled the recipe in my TM6 and had no issues. I just added an extra couple seconds to each step.

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Lovely food: My son loves Anzac biscuits since I've been making these! Glad to know the coconut oil and golden syrup can be subbed. Was it not too oily with both oil and butter? Did you increase the sugar?
