- 160 grams raw sugar
- 50 grams Butter
- 50 grams chia gel
- 140 grams Self Raising Flour
- 80 grams desicatted coconut
- 1 egg
- 25 grams cacao powder

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Place baking paper on or grease a slice tin.
3. Place raw sugar into TM bowl and mill Sp9/3secs. Set sugar aside.
4. Place butter into TM bowl and heat 2 and a half mins/60degrees/Sp2 or until fully dissolved.
5. Add Chia gel, self-raising flour, coconut, egg, sugar and cacao powder to the TM bowl and mix 15secs/Sp3.
6. Tip mixture into prepared slice tin and press down evenly.
7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
8. Allow to cool and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Ice with chocolate ganache/chocolate icing and sprinkle with desiccated coconut if desired.
Method:
Tip
Adding 50g chia gel reduces the fat content of this slice by more than 50%.
To make the chia gel - mix 15g of chia seeds into 70g water until a gel is formed.
