This recipes is a definite hit! I used 4 apples, added sultanas, milk and vanilla. It's a slice that carries well in the tractor/truck so is even better for our family. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Delicious! This recipe made quite a lot for 2 of us. I served it warm, sometimes with ice cream and sometimes with custard. I needed to add a dash of milk at the end of mixing the batter. Next time I will add an extra apple but it was lovely with 3 apples. I sprinkled cinnamon and then sugar over the top before baking. Thank you for this yummy and easy recipe.

This was nice but needed more apple and half or more less sugar. I'd use 5to 6 apples next time.

I didn't add any milk, and it wasn't dry at all! I used 3 granny smith apples, and pure butter, so not sure if that made the difference? Anyway thank you for sharing this, it was really good!

Dry and boring flavour. Threw it out - waste of apples.
