Ingredients

  • 1x 3 second spray Oil spray
  • 150 g plain flour
  • 110 grams castor sugar
  • 100 grams rolled oats
  • 100 grams Butter
  • 40 grams golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean extract

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC.

    2. Add butter and golden syrup to TM and mix for 2 minutes, 70 degrees, speed 2, until melted completely.

    3. Combine one tablespoon of boiling water with baking soda. Add to Butter mixture. Add vanilla extract.  Mix 5 secs, speed 3.

    4. Add remaining ingredients. Mix 1 minute, interval speed Dough mode"Dough mode" .

    5. Drop teaspoonfuls onto baking trays, gently flattening each one. Leave 3cm aside each biscuit for spreading.

    6. Bake until edges turn golden, about 15 minutes. Let stand on tray for 5 minutes before removing to a cooling rack to cool and crisp completely.

Tip

Each biscuit is 3 ProPoints on Weight Watchers plan.

    Just joined Weight Watchers this week and so glad to find a WW TM recipe so I can make these for Anzac day tomorrow. I'm wondering roughly how many biscuits this makes so I can get the ProPoints right! Thank you  tmrc_emoticons.)
