Any suggestions on using up the poaching liquid? It seems a shame to waste it. I used chicken stock paste as I didn't have any veg on hand.Thank you.
I use this recipe at least once a week to keep a stock of cooked, portioned chicken in the fridge and/or freezer. I then use it to add to stir fries, soups, curries, pasta dishes, fried rice, salads or simply for sandwiches and wraps througout the week. A healthy addition to any quick meals. And the water left in bowl after poaching is a perfect stock for soup! All round winner.
Hi guys, sorry I didn’t add shredding info. I usually use Speed 4 on reverse for about 10 secs
How do you then shred the chicken in the thermo??
JessicaCameron1990:
hi, I’m making this for the first time as we speak, did you find out how to shred it??
Yum! Really moist and yummy. What speed do people usually shred it on?
Sorry, forgot to rate.
Love this easy recipe. Goes great with pasta dishes.
mc on or off?
So quick and easy! First time trying out poaching and shredding in the Thermie, definitely going to do this more often. Thank you!
