We have these almost weekly, love them!
love love love them..... love the addition of yoghurt would be interested to hear if anyone has put protein powder in theirs as a protein boost for breakfast.
Nice. Definitely needs a bit of sweetness. I used vanilla yoghurt instead and it was still fairly savoury.
Jabes
These turned out fantastic. I had coconut yoghurt on hand instead of plain and they still turned out perfectly. Will definitely keep this recipe on hand, thanks!
These turned out perfectly, I did them both mornings on the weekend due to their popularity! The second time I substituted the flour with gluten free self raising flour, and they were just as good. Using leftovers for kids lunchboxes with a bit of butter on them, I love it that they are sugar free.
This an awesome waffle recipe! Delicious hot or cold. Can be sweet or savoury, and I love that yoghurt is a core ingredient!
Waffle mixture - We absolutely love this waffle recipe! I successfully doubled the recipe on the weekend, the only change I made was to put the mixture into a big bowl (after mixing in the flour) then fold through the egg whites with a spatula. These waffles are such a big hit in our household that I will continue to double the recipe in future, then freeze the leftover cooked waffles for super quick breakfasts. Thanks again for sharing such a great recipe!
What a great recipe!
we found a waffle iron in our holiday and I whipped up a batch of these straight away. They were devoured, even by our friends kids who are fussy eaters. I had to do another batch as the first disappeared so quickly, but this wasnt a problem as it's such an easy recipe. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for your comment, so glad you enjoyed the recipe

Fabulous waffle recipe!
I've tried many recipes and these were great - light, fluffy, crispy & EASY!!! AND no sugar!! I almost didn't try them because I couldn't be bothered with the egg whites, but I'm so glad I did. I didn't put the butterfly back in at the end - I just folded the whipped egg whites through with the spatula to save time.
Thanks arwen.thermomix
