Ingredients

Apple Pie Bread

  • 300 g alonds raw, Blanched or unblanched
  • 55 g walnuts
  • 100 g apple, green, approx 1 apple, cut into eigths
  • 75 g coconut oil
  • 80 g coconut milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g Raw Honey, or 120g if you like sweeter
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre Heat oven 180deg, fan forced & grease / line a loaf tin
  2. Place almonds in Closed lid"Closed lid" and mill 10sec Speed 7, empty into a bowl and set aside
  3. Place walnuts into Closed lid"Closed lid" and chop 1sec, Speed5 (they should be a bit chunky) empty into a bowl and set aside
  4. place apple into Closed lid"Closed lid" and chop 5 sec speed 4, empty into a bowl and set aside
  5. place coconut oil into Closed lid"Closed lid" , (if solid) melt approx 60sec / 50ddeg on speed 4, until melted
  6. add coconut milk, coconut oil, honey, eggs, applecider vinegar and vanilla extract. Combine 3 sec / Speed 3
  7. add almond flour, coconut flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Combine 4 sec / Speed 5
  8. add apples and walnuts. combine 3 sec / Speed 4 Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"
  9. Pour into lined loaf tin and bake 40min, or test with a skewer when it comes out clean

Tip

double the apple quatity if desired.

top with smashed walnuts, almond flour and a pinch of cinnamon for a crumble topping if desired.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
