- 330 g water
- 1.5 tsp dried instant yeast
- 1.5 tsp white sugar
- 500 g flour, wholemeal or plain
- 1.5 tsp bread improver, optional
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

- Combine water, yeast, sugar 3 min / 37C / speed 2
- Add all remaining ingredients 6 min /"Dough mode"
- Let stand for at least 30 mins till risen and pre-heat overn to 180 conventional mode.
- Bake for 45-50 mins until golden and clean if skewed.
Tip
I find baking paper easier to work with than oiling a tin as it comes away easy once the bread is cooked and doesn't cook the outside of the bread too much.
I prefer conventional mode cooking as it doesn't dry out the bread when compared to fan-forced.
I recommend not leaving the dough to proof in the TM bowl as it will rise more than the bowl capacity.
