Apple slice
- 1 package Vanilla Cake Mix
- 165 g Butter
- 200 g sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 360 g stewed apple

- Preheat oven 180degrees and line a 20 x 30cm cake tine with baking paper.
Place 165g butter in bowl."Closed lid"
"Slow Cooking" 2 minutes"Sous-vide" 70 degrees "Blend" speed 1
"Closed lid" add cake mix mix on dough "Dough mode" "Slow Cooking" 2 minutes. Press into cake tin and bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile mix the Sour cream and eggs "Slow Cooking" 20 seconds "Blend" speed 3
Add the apple and mix "Slow Cooking" 5 seconds "Counter-clockwise operation" reverse speed 1.
Pour the mixture over the base and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Let it cool and the put in fridge. Serve cold.
Be warned, this slice is like crack... you will want more, and more and more.
Tip
I used stewed apples in a can but you could stew the apples yourself first.
Peel, core and slice 4 granny smith apples. Add 50g brown sugar and 700 g water. Cook for "Slow Cooking" 15mins "Sous-vide" 98degrees "Counter-clockwise operation" reverse "Gentle stir setting" speed soft.
