Ingredients

Filling

  • 150 grams pitted dates
  • 40 grams raw cashews
  • 40 grams macadamias
  • 40 grams pepitas
  • 100 grams Glazed cherries
  • 30 grams desicated coconut
  • 20 grams Organic Corn Puffs
  • 90 grams coconut oil, Melted
  • 10 grams Pure Maple Syrup

Choc Coating

  • 440 grams 70% Dark Chocolate, Broken into pieces

Recipe's preparation

    Filling
  1. Put dates into mixing bowl and mix for 5 seconds/ Speed 9

     

    Add Cashews, Macadamias, Pepitas, Glazed cherries, Desicated coconut and Organic Puffed Corn Closed lid"Closed lid" / Turbo/ 1 sec/ 2 times (this should give you what looks like a crumbly mixture)

     

    Add Vanilla Paste, Melted Coconut oil and pure maple syrup to the mixing bowl and mix 40 seconds/ Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / Speed 2

     

    Poor mixture into a lined slice tin (approx 28cm x 19cm) and press with the MC to get an even slice.

     

    Cut into 36 even sized squares while in the tin and then place into freezer for approx 1hr (or until firm and not crummbly)

     

    Once set enough break into squares as per sut lines and place back into the freezer until while you do the next step

     

  2. Choc Coating
  3. Put chocolate pieces into a clean and dry mixing bowl.

     

    Grate Chocolate 40 seconds/ Speed 9

     

    Scrape down bowl

     

    Melt chocolate 6 minutes/ 50 degrees/ Speed 2 (if needs longer just do 1-2 minutes at time.

     

    Poor melted chocolate into a small bowl. take out slice pieces from freezer. Using two kebab skewers to hold slice cover in melted choc and place on a lined baking tray (I made sure i let any excess chocolate drip off into the bowl before placing on baking tray)

     

    Place a glazed cherry on top

     

    Once done place ino fridge until completly set and then serve as desired.

    Best kept in fridge so they dont melt
