Ingredients

  • 300 grams Shredded coconut
  • 4 Eggs, separated
  • 200ml Thjckened Cream
  • 200 grams dark chocolate, Broken into pieces
  • 200 grams milk chocolate, Broken into pieces
  • 2 heaped tsp kahlua

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.

  2. Line a 22 cm round Springform cake tin with baking paper.

  3. Combine eggwhites with coconut and press firmly over base and up sides of the cake tin.

  4. Bake uncovered for approx 20 minutes or until lightly browned in colour.

  5. Add pour cream, chocolate, egg yolks and liquer into mixing bowl and heat 7 min/90 C/speed 1.

  6. Pour into tart shell and refrigerate for approx 6 hours or until set.

  7. Cut into wedges and serve with cream.

    Sounds like a great dessert, but I was wondering about the egg whites? Your directionS don't state how they are whipped, I presume to stiff peaks??
