Recipe's preparation

    Strawberry Jelly
  1. Add hulled strawberries and desired raw sugar to TM bowl and cook 3-4mins 90degs/Sp4.

Add 300g of the cold water and contents of the 2 gelatine sachets (try not to get any on top of the blade) into strawberry mixture.  Heat on 90degs/Sp3 for 3mins.

Add remaining 700g of cold water and blend 10secs/Sp4.

Once cooled, divide jelly mix into plastic cups or into one bowl.  Allow to set for a couple of hours or overnight is best before serving.

You can top with additional fresh fruit, yoghurt or custard.

  2. Unflavoured Jelly
  3. If you do not want to use Strawberries, please proceed as follows:

Add 300g of the cold water, raw sugar and contents of the 2 sachets of gelatine (try not to get any on top of the blade) to the TM bowl.  Heat 3-4mins on 90degs/Sp3.

Add remaining 700g of cold water and blend 10secs/Sp4.

Once cooled, divide jelly mix into plastic cups or into one bowl. Allow to set for a couple of hours or overnight is best before serving.

You can add fresh fruit before the jelly sets, then top with yoghurt or custard when the jelly is firm.

Tip

You can use frozen hulled strawberries.  Defrost slightly before cooking.

This is a recipe I use all the time in my school canteen.  As pictured in plastic cups which is what we call Jelly Cups and the kids go crazy for them tmrc_emoticons.)

No additives, just plain jelly and fruit.

If making the unflavoured jelly, you could add a couple drops of natural additive free food colouring if desired.

I found this too plain- maybe next time make with fruit juice and water rather than just water
