  • 500 g Unsalted good quality butter
  • 400 g can condensed milk
  • 180 g Sifted icing sugar

Recipe's preparation

    Rima’s Buttercream
  1. 1.Soften unsalted Butter and cut up your good quality unsalted butter into cubes

    2. Place in your butterfly to the bowl

    3. place in half the butter to the bowl and turn to speed 4

    4. once butter has started to whip, remove the measuring cup and one by one add the remaining 250 g cubed butter until light and pale

    5. through the measuring cup hole, pour in your condensed milk until all well combined and creamy

    6. add in your icing sugar until all combined

    NOTES:

    If it's too soft once done, place buttercream in the fridge for 5-10mins until you're able to pipe.

    VARIENT:

    To make Biscoff cream - at step 6 add 3 heaped tablespoons of Biscoff spread until all combined

    To make Nuttela cream - at step 6 add 3 heaped tablespoons of Nutella spread until all combined

    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
