Recipe's preparation

    Spuds
  1. 1. Mill 300g white sugar 10 seconds/speed 10. Set Aside.

    2. Make condensed milk - put water, 150g white sugar, butter and milk powder in bowl with butterfly and cook for 6 minutes/90 degrees/speed 4 (alternatively use a tin of condensed milk)

    3. Add coconut and milled sugar (that was previously set aside) to condensed milk mixture. Mix 20 seconds Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 4

    4. Using a teaspoonful of mixture, roll into balls and cover lightly in cocoa powder (place ball in cocoa powder for a second, then roll around your hands to coat).

    5. Refrigerate till cold.

    These are awesome! My mums fave and haven't been able to buy for years!

    Made them with a little more milk powder in the condensed milk (around 20g) and popped them in the freezer before dusting with cocoa - I found the cocoa didn't distribute well when first made! A BIG hit!
