Ingredients

4 fish fillets

  • 4 fillets Firm White Fish
  • 25 grams palm sugar
  • 2 Kaffir lime leaves
  • 15 grams sesame oil
  • 50 grams soy sauce
  • 4 heaped teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 litre water
  • 300 grams arborio rice
  • 1 carrot, thin sliced
  • 1 zuchinni, thin sliced
  • 1 bunch Brocolli flourettes, or Brocollini

Recipe's preparation

    Sauce
  1. Palm sugar, lime leaves, oil, soy HALF the pepper to the TM bowl. Mill 10 seconds speed 6 and saute for 2 mins @100 speed 1.

    Add water to the TM bowl.

  2. Add Arborio rice to TM basket

  3. Add fish to the bottom of the Varoma and sprinkle with remainder of the pepper - add sliced veggies in the top of the Varoma.

  4. Cook at Varoma temp, speed 2 for 22 minutes (This time may vary if you use thicker cuts of fish or brown rice,)

  5. Once finished, Serve the fish and vegetables on the rice and spoon some of the sauce over the top. Enjoy!

    This was nice, i always like trying out new fish recipes in the varoma. The rice had a nice taste as well.

    This was yum! I halved the pepper as I have two young kids and slightly overcooked my fish but the flavour was there! I have frozen the leftover pepper rice to have again. Definitely worth a try!!
