    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Omg, I've been cooking this recipe of years and the kids love it! It's out go to at least once a fortnight!

Last night I substituted the cream for Coconut Cream and wow . Delicious and adds so much more flavor! Definitely will be cooking it this way from now on. Huge hit with the kids too which is a win win!☺️

    Very quick and easy.
This will be a go to butter chicken, despite having tried many other thermomix recipes.

Added 20g extra tomato paste because it was the last of a batch that I wanted to use up- and an extra clove or garlic because it was the last of a bulb.
I omitted the chilli for my 4 and 1 year old. They didn't complain at all about the food tonight. That's a win. Even my snobby hubby enjoyed it. He said it didn' t taste authentic, but it as still nice.

served it's rice and garlic naan. Will attempt to add veg of some sort as a side next time.

Love this so much! I don't wash the bowl after I'm finished then cook the rice. 1l water, 350g Jasmine rice in the steaming bowl, stirred. 25 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 4. Oh. So m delicious

Great recipe for a beginner because it is quick and simple.

I’ll keep it for a Panic Night meal when I need something quick.

I used 1 kilo of chicken and added a carrot and half a zucchini. Still heaps of sauce.

This was very nice. I also added a small amount of sugar to make it more like our local Indian restaurant. Quick and easy midweek meal!
