Ingredients
Sauce
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 x 425g cans tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 Cup red wine
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves
- 1 tsp oregano, fresh, or dried
- 1/8 tsp pepper, ground
- 1 pinches cinnamon sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 300 grams spaghetti
Meatballs
- 500 grams chicken breast fillets, minced
- 3/4 cups breadcrumbs
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 teaspoons oregano, fresh, or dried
- 1/8 teaspoons pepper, ground

- Add breadcrumbs, parmesan, parsley, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the Thermomix bowl. Mix 5 sec / Speed 5.
- Add chicken mince and egg to the bowl. Mix 10 sec / Reverse / Speed 4 or until well combined.
- Roll mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, or until golden.
- Without cleaning the bowl, add tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken stock, sugar, oregano, salt, and pepper. Blend 5 sec / Speed 5.
- While the sauce cooks, boil spaghetti as per packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Add baked meatballs to the sauce. Simmer 5 min / 100°C / Reverse / Speed Soft to coat.
- Serve meatballs and sauce over spaghetti. Enjoy hot!
