I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Add cashews, chickpeas and garlic clove and mill for 20 sec / speed 9.
Add all remaining ingredients, add the milk in last and mix on 30 sec / speed 3.
Poor the batter into a shallow dish for battering.
coat both sides of the food you want to batter.
In a frying pan, heat enough of your chosen oil for shallow frying. cook coated food until golden brown. baking time can change depending on what you are frying and if you have allready pre-cooked it or not.
Tip
I mainly use this batter on my potato slices to make crispy hot potato chips. I pre cook my potatoes first in the microwave for 2 minutes or steam in my varoma for 15min. just be careful not to cook the poato too long, don't want it too soft and crumbly.
Can double the batch if needed, just double the ingredients, but keep the milling time the same as if any longer than 20seconds will turn it to a sticky paste.
If you want fresh parsely, chop the parsely up on 3 sec / speed 7, before you start the batter set aside until needed.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
