Recipe's preparation

    Mac~n~Cheese
  1. Method
    1) Get your pasta on the boil on the stovetop, add salt and a good splash of olive oil to water. Drain when al dente, and add to your thermoserver, or casserole dish with a lid, to keep warm.

While your pasta is boiling, time to make the sauce!

    2) Place the cubed tasty and parmesan cheese into your bowl and grate for 10SECS on SPD10.

    3) Add the butter, plain flour, milk, salt and pepper, Dijon mustard and paprika if using, into your bowl and cook for 7MINS at 80 DEGREES on SPD4.

Once finished use immediately, and pour sauce all over the pasta and mix through to coat the little elbows in lots of gooey cheesy sauce 🤤🤤

    Serve and dive in 🙌🏻

Tip

You can add some broccoli to the pot of pasta for the kids, you could even add in some bacon or whatever else you like to have with your Mac~n~Cheese. I personally love it all on its own....while I’m off hiding in a corner 🤣

This cheese sauce can also be used for anything from your lasagne, jacket potatoes, fish, veggies, pasta dishes, and silverside (corned beef).

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
