Since I only needed a serve for two of us, I halved the recipe (though kept the 20g cornflour/milk mix) and got a nice thick sauce! Was excellent, simple and tasted delcious.
Not sure if the previous commenters didn't know how to mix up the cornflour mix properly (i've screwed it up in other dishes..however know better now)..maybe youtube it if you attempt this.
Will do this again for sure!
I added extra cornflower as it was so watery, still didn't thicken and I'd run out of cornflower so couldn't add any more. Needed extra salt and pepper but still didn't come good.
Sorry but i tried this recipe but i was a bog fail! The sauce did not thicken - inadded three lots of cornflour, heated three times... Nothing...
I also added salt and pepper.
This was lovely, however I found I needed to increase the cornflour to thicken the sauce a little more. I added another heaped desertspoon full mixed in a little milk. Will know for next time. I have frozen what was left but unsure if it will freeze ok.
