I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place all ingredients into Thermomix bowl and cook 2 min/50C/speed 2.
Store in a sterile jar in the pantry. Do not refrigerate.
Tip
Microwave a few seconds to make it pourable, and pour on ice cream.
Option-If using within one week, for a nice, buttery flavour, you can add 60 grams butter, & use just 60 grams oil.
Regarding Oils-Refined coconut oil acts as a neutral fat with minimal flavor. Using virgin unrefined coconut oil imparts a stronger coconut flavor.
Optional Flavour additives from www.browniepointsblog.com. [Note-Use oil based if using essences]
- Peppermint Patty: drops of mint flavoring with dark chocolate
- Creme de Menthe: drops of mint flavoring with white chocolate and green coloring
- Candy Bar: 70:30 mixture of refined:virgin coconut oil, drops of almond flavoring and milk chocolate
- Silky Orange: drops of orange oil in dark chocolate
- Creamsicle: drops of orange oil in white chocolate with orange coloring
- Spring Lemon: drops of lemon oil in white chocolate with yellow coloring
- Lime Me Up: drops of lime oil in white chocolate, and a sprinkle of salt on the shell as it hardens
- Midnight Chocolate: dark chocolate with smoked salt

Yummy! Will try peppermint next batch!!
how long does this last for
Yep, this version is the best! I made it using Lindt choc (for friends with a sweet tooth) and it tastes sooo good. I'll make this for us using Green and Black's choc. So good!!
So much better than the real thing! Made for a dinner party as one guest requested ice magic! This one was better. I cooked for 3.5mins and it was great. Thanks for sharing.
In 2 miniutes my thermomix isn't up to 50 degress so I had to put it on longer. Should it actually get to 50 degress in 2 minutes?
This recipe is fantastic! A family favourite!
