  • 1000 grams tomato sauce (ketchup)
  • 250 grams apple cider vinegar
  • 15 grams Ground Cumin Powder
  • 8 grams Ground Garlic Powder
  • 15 grams ground chilli powder
  • 15 grams Ground Cayenne Powder
  • 60 grams raw sugar
  • 30 grams coarse sea salt
  • 50 grams fresh lemon juice

    Spicy Vodka BBQ Sauce
  1. Mix all ingredients on simmer 25 Minutes, 85C, Speed 3

Tip

The longer you simmer the thicker the sauce becomes. (Reduction)

Cook's notes

Oven temperatures are for conventional; if using fan-forced (convection), reduce the temperature by 20˚C.

We use Australian tablespoons and cups:

1 teaspoon equals 5 ml;

1 tablespoon equals 20 ml;

1 cup equals 250 ml.

All herbs are fresh (unless specified) and cups are lightly packed.

All vegetables are medium size and peeled, unless specified.All eggs are 55-60 g, unless specified.

    Each to their own, I'm glad you tried it. I hope you tried it as a marinade with a slow cooked pork, it would loose its potency and added it to the meat.

    Not bad but I halved the chilli and ceyenne as it was still REALLY hot next time i would only use a pinch of each tmrc_emoticons.)
