add cream cheese to mixing bowl 10 secs speed 4 or until desired consistency.

Place Strawberries and basil into mixing bowl and chop 6 secs speed 4
Tip
Serve dip with crackers or carrots or celery.
Can be used as a spread on toast and sandwiches

Was browsing online looking for things to do with 12 punnets of strawberries I picked up from the fruit markets last week, and stumbled across this recipe ! Wow, what a great combination of flavours. Absolutely delicious served on an apple wedge. Yummo.
Made it again for the fourth time. Again, friends go mad for this! Would think that strawberry and basil are an unlikely combination but this dip proves that thought wrong! Basil does not overpower the strawberries at all in this dip. So yummy. Perfect summer dip. I serve this with gluten free pull apart bread. Mmmmmm. I'm surprised no one else has rated this. Have you tried it? Try it!
