Ingredients
Tomato Sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion
- parsley/basil, a few sprigs
- 50 g olive oil
- 800 g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp rapidura sugar

- 1. Place the garlic, onion and parsley into the bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 7.
Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
2. Add the olive oil and saute 3 mins/Varoma/speed 1.
3. Add the tin of tomatoes (plus a little water from rinsing the tin), tomato paste, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper and chop for 20 sec/speed 4.5.
4. Then cook for 30-40 mins/100/speed 1. Use the basket to sit on top instead of the measuring cup.

Can be stored in a clean jar in the fridge for up to a week or in the freezer.
