Ingredients
- 30 g garlic
- 5 g lemongrass
- 15 g Oil (peanut or olive any oil of choice)
- 2 cm cube ginger or galangal
- 1 chilli
- 70 g unsalted roasted peanuts
- 45 g kecap manis
- 30 g fish sauce
- 20 g soy sauce
- 20 g lemon or lime juice
- 1/4 tsp Onion Flakes
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp curry powder
- 2 leaves Kaffir lime leaf
- 40 g brown sugar
- 100-200 g unsalted roasted peanuts
- 1 can coconut cream (400ml Can)

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Add all ingredients into the thermomix bowl exept the 200g of Peanuts and coconut cream
2. Blend 1 min / speed 9 scrape down bowl
3. Add coconut cream and 100-200g of peanuts and cook 25 mins / speed 2/ 90 degees
4. Once cooked blend to break up peanuts 2min/ speed 4 check the desired consistance. If you like sauce smoother blend untill smooth if you like chunky blend 1min. It is compleatly up to you and how you like it.
Tip
- Adding the peanuts at different times and adding more or less will give you a diffrent consistancy.
- Sauce with thicken as it cools
- Less or more nuts and or chili/cayanne pepper can be added according to taste
- Sugar is an element that balances if you do not wish to use sugar go easy on the spices chilli, cayanne pepper and curry powder
- Stores well in the fridge in an air tight container
- Use as a stir through sauce, dipping sauce or marinade
