I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place the chopping blade into the bowl. add all the remaining ingredients. Holding the lid firmly chop on high speed for 30 seconds. Cook on speed 3, and highest temperature for 35 minutes. If ingredients arent a smooth consistency place a wet cloth over lid and chop on high speed approx 20 seconds. (As the mixture is hot the cloth prevents splatter). Pour into 4 to 5 sterilized jars. I wash them rinse in plain water and microwave approx 1 to 2 minutes. I also taste the mixture as it may require a little more salt or sugar according to your taste. Delicious served on BBQ meats, little meat pies and sausage rolls.

I have just used two cans of whole tomatoes and drained the liquid off. OMG this is the best recipe ever.
How long does this keep for once made?
Just finished making this after receiving my thermomix on Friday ... Love the taste., it's delish ! After reading the comments about being too runny I decided to cut back on the vinegar to 100g instead of 125g ... The consistency was perfect !
This is the most awesome sauce. Very similar to shop bought so my kids love it. Mine was a bit runny too, so I just cooked it a bit longer until it was the consistency I wanted. I guess it depends on how juicy your tomatoes are. Love it!

I do a big boiling of tomato sauce every year (which takes all day) and have been looking for a similar recipe. Thanks for sharing this. Mine was a bit runny, any suggestions for making it thicker?
