- 4 Gherkins
- 10 g oil
- 125 g diced ham
- 2 onions
- 1000 g potatoes, sliced in 2-3 mm
- 500 g water
- 1 tablespoon vegatable stock paste
dressing
- 2 tablespoon Wine Vinegar
- 1 pinches lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoons mustard(big tbsp)
- 3 pinches nutmeg, salt, pepper

Gherkins in "Closed lid" 5 seconds on speed 5 and pour into a bowl.
10 g oil and diced ham in "Closed lid" Varoma temp/ 3 minutes/ speed 1/ "Counter-clockwise operation" , also pour into a bowl.
2 onions "No counter-clockwise operation" 3 seconds on speed 5.
1000g potatoes in simmering basket
500g water and 1 tsp. vegatable stock paste or TM vege stock,
Varoma temp/ 30 minutes/ "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 1
after potatoes pour into a bowl but not the remaining broth in the "Closed lid" , becausethe broth we need for the dressing.
Put the ingredients for the dressing in "Closed lid" to the remaining broth. "No counter-clockwise operation" 10 seconds/ speed 3.
And now about the häfte of dressings pour over the potatos (with the gherkin and ham), stir. Let it rest for at least 1 hour

Potato salad tastes very good hot.I hope they can understand the recipe . I do not speak English very well , I'm from Germany.

At step 3 do the onions stay in the tm and cook while potatoes are cooking and then they become part of the broth/dressing?
Absolutly delicious! I did bacon instead of ham, not as many potatos because of basket size. Was so good but would be great with more potato as well. Will be adding this to our regular
TaraSmart: use mustard paste
Just wondering what type of mustard everyone used for this? I was thinking whole grain?
I didn't have ham and used apple cider vinegar instead of wine vinegar and it still turned out nice. Even my kids ate it and I have never managed to get them to eat potato salad before!
