Ingredients

  • 40 g brown rice
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 30 g oil
  • 200 gfrozen spinach or 1 bunch fresh English Spinach
  • 1 l water
  • 2 tbspTM Vegetable Stock Concentrate
  • Dill and sugar to taste
  • Milk to taste (optional)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place brown rice into TM bowl and mill for 1 minute on speed 8. Set aside.

    Place garlic into TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds on speed 6.

    Add oil and sauté for 2 minutes at 100 °C  on speed 1.

    Add remaining ingredients and cook for 10 minutes at 100 °C on speed 2.

    Pulverise for 10-20 seconds by slowly increasing from speed 1 to speed 8.

    Serve with gluten free croutons (make gluten free bread, dice into cubes and toast lightly under a grill or a low heat in the oven).

    made this last night as i had a bunch of spinach given to me. I was also given a bag of avocado's so i added about 5. Beautiful creamy nutty sort of result. Delicious!

    Really like this soup! great way to get your greens down and tastes smooth not bitter or sour. i added half a bunch of parsley to mine great way to get some added iron.

    Best ever spinach soup. Others I've tried were too watery but the rice makes such a difference in this one and adds a nice nutty flavour. I added an mc of cream in the last 20 secs of cooking which was lovely.

    Tasty soup. I like mine a little thicker so will reduce the amount of water next time.
