Ingredients

APPLE SLICE CAKE

  • 3 granny smith apples, peeled, cored and quartered
  • 250 grams Self Raising Flour, Sifted
  • 125 grams raw sugar
  • 150 grams unsalted butter, Melted
  • 1 Egg - large
  • 1 tbsp raw sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Recipe's preparation

    APPLE SLICE CAKE
  1. 1. Add quartered apples, sifted flour, raw sugar, melted unsalted butter and lightly whisked egg to Thermomix jug.

    2.Gently combine the ingredients for 2 minutes, on speed 2. Check if apples have been cut into smallish pieces, if not do another 1 minute.

    3.Press mixture into a lined slice tray using the back of a spoon. Do not smooth the top.

    4. Combine the extra raw sugar and cinnamon powder and sprinkle over the top making sure to get into the corners.

    5.Bake at 180C for 35 - 40 minutes.

    6. Allow the tray to cool before removing the cake and slicing.
