Ingredients
OUR FAVOURITE MUSHROOM SAUCE
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion, cut in half
- 100 grams white wine, or whatever is available
- 30 grams olive oil
- 300 grams water, to go with stock powder
- 1 level tablespoon vegetable stock powder
- 3 level tablespoons cornflour, if required for consistency
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 1. Put garlic and onion into TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 7.
2. Add olive oil and saute for 3 minutes at 100 degrees C on speed 1.
3. Add mushrooms and saute for 5 mins at Varoma Temperature on "Counter-clockwise operation" , "Gentle stir setting" .
4. Add wine, stock powder and water.
5. Cook for 15 minutes at Varoma temerature on "Counter-clockwise operation" , "Gentle stir setting" .
6. Add cornflour slowly while on "Counter-clockwise operation" , speed 1 to the consistency you prefer. You do not need to used all 3 tblspns of cornflour. It is depends on your liking and what you are using the sauce for.
7. Salt and pepper to taste.

Tip
The cornflour can be used as a minimum addition and the stock powder increased slightly and this recipe can be used as a soup.
