Ingredients

OUR FAVOURITE MUSHROOM SAUCE

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 100 grams white wine, or whatever is available
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 300 grams water, to go with stock powder
  • 1 level tablespoon vegetable stock powder
  • 3 level tablespoons cornflour, if required for consistency
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation

    OUR FAVOURITE MUSHROOM SAUCE
  1. 1. Put garlic and onion into TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on speed 7.
    2. Add olive oil and saute for 3 minutes at 100 degrees C on speed 1.
    3. Add mushrooms and saute for 5 mins at Varoma Temperature on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .
    4. Add wine, stock powder and water.
    5. Cook for 15 minutes at Varoma temerature on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" .
    6. Add cornflour slowly while on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , speed 1 to the consistency you prefer. You do not need to used all 3 tblspns of cornflour. It is depends on your liking and what you are using the sauce for.
    7. Salt and pepper to taste.

Tip

The cornflour can be used as a minimum addition and the stock powder increased slightly and this recipe can be used as a soup.
