- 60 grams pitted dates
- 60 grams walnuts
- 180 grams self rasing flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 100 grams raw sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 bananas
- 100 grams Milk of your choice
- 50 grams Grapeseed Oil

Pre heat oven to 180OC.
Place dates into TM bowl and chop for a further 3-5 seconds speed 7.
Add walnuts and chop for a further 3-5 seconds on speed 7.
Add all other ingredients and mix for 30 seconds on speed 6.
Pour into prepared loaf tin and bake for approximately one hour or until a skewer comes out clean. Allow to cool in time before turning onto wire rack.

Well done everyone who has had success.
Using the cookbook that came with my TMX 31, page 118 recipe which is similar to this recipe I've tried making the banana bread a few times. Each time it looks glutinous, like a pudding. Only mixed it for 20 seconds, speed 6 this time. Still a failure but tastes good.

Easy recipe. I didn't have grapeseed oil so I used Canola. I would probably reduce the baking time to 45 or 50 mins next time. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
I didn't chop walnuts and only mixed for 20 secs. Didn't want dates and walnuts too fine. Put walnuts on top. Good to use SR flour as I didn't have any plain flour! Easy and delicious.
