Ingredients

Slice

  • 340 grams Butter
  • 85 grams Weetbix, (High Bran)
  • 90 grams rolled oats
  • 280 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 30 grams cocoa powder
  • 190 grams brown sugar

Icing

  • 350 grams icing sugar, Can make this from raw sugar in your thermomix
  • 30 grams cocoa powder

Recipe's preparation

    Make the Slice
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C.

  2. Place dry ingredients into the mixing bowl then combine 15sec/speed 3.  Set dry ingredients aside – no need to clean bowl.

  3. Add the dry ingredients back into the mixing bowl with the melted butter then combine 20 secs/speed 3.  Scrape mixture from sides then 20 secs/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 2.

  4. Place the mixture into a lined baking tray and bake for approximately 20mins depending on oven heat.

  5. Cool mixture in the tray.  Allow to cool before icing.

  6. Icing
  7. Combine sugar and cocoa for 5 secs/speed 8.  Add warm water to get icing to correct consistency adding to the mixture through the MC cup hole with machine on speed 2.

Tip

Allow slice to cool completely before cutting into squares.
