Ingredients

Base

  • 160 g self-raising flour
  • 80 g brown sugar
  • 80 g Coconut
  • 125 g Butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Caramel

  • 1 cans condensed milk
  • 20 g Butter
  • 40 g golden syrup

Topping

  • 200 g chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Recipe's preparation

    Base
  1. Preheat oven to 180o Fan

    Add all ingredients to the TM mix 15 seconds Spd 7
    Pour into prepared slice tin.
    Bake 180o 15 minutes
  2. Caramel

    Add all ingrediesnts to TM Bowl
    Cook 4 Minutes varoma Speed 2
    Pour over cooked base, return to the oven 10 mins.
    Caramel will darken, bubble and thicken.
    Leave to cool completely
  3. Chocolate
    In a microwave safe bowl, break chocolate into small pieces add coconut oil
    Cook in 30 second bursts, stirring in between until melted
    Pour over cooled caramel and leave to set

Tip

I have only ever used highlander condensed milk. In other recipes I find the cheaper supermarket brands dont set.
This was my grandmothers recipe and I have converted it to the TM.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
