Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place the dates, cacao powder and peanut butter into the Closed lid"Closed lid"

    2. Blend on Speed 6 for 10 seconds or until mixture resembles a paste.

    3. Add the almonds and pulse on Turbo until desired chunkiness is achieved (don’t leave it too long or it will turn into a liquidy mess!!!). If your mixture is too dry, add 1tbs of agave syrup and pulse to mix through. If it is still too dry add another tablespoon and pulse again. The mixture should be a little sticky and roll easily into balls.

    4. Use a spoon to roll the mixture into tablespoon sized balls.

    5. For best results store in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within a week (trust me.. they won’t last that long!!).

Tip

I chop my nuts up in bulk and store in the freezer for when I need to use them.

Very very tasty. I used the thermomix to chop the almonds in the beginning and then just tipped them into a bowl until they were required. Will definitely make these again.

These are so amazing! I had to add a few teaspoons of water and repeat step 2 a few times to get a paste (my dates were a bit dry) but this recipe is the bomb. I will have to make a double batch and hide them in the freezer from my husband! YUM YUM YUM

These are just AMAZING! I could just sit down and eat the whole lot & not feel too guilty! I added some chia seeds which gave them a nice little crunch. Thanks for sharing  tmrc_emoticons.)
