I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Weigh Sultanas and lay them 1 level deep in a shallow dish. Weigh Rum and pour over Sultanas so all Sultanas are sitting in Rum. Cover and leave in fridge overnight to soak for best results
- Drain Sultanas next day and enjoy a sip of rum!
- Weigh 120g coconut flakes and "Blend" 10 sec/speed 10. Set aside 40g in a separate bowl.
- Combine drained Sultanas with all other ingredients and "Blend" 10sec/speed 5.5. Use spatchelor scrape down the sides and repeat until mixture is well combined.
- Use a teaspoon to scoop out mixture and roll it into a ball.
- Roll the ball in the bowl with the coconut prepared earlier until it is well coated and place into a covered container.
- When all mixture has been rolled out, place the covered container in the fridge for a couple of hours to harden.
- Enjoy!

Tip
I used high quality 57.7% OP Rum as the main flavour base, for that extra umpf 😁. I also used organic ingredients for the best flavour.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
